Our political system is being trumped in every way that word applies. A man that stands for a minority few taking advantage of a busy majority pushes for the change that epitomizes the contradiction people live in. Vague ideas are backed with passion because thought and reason are not exciting enough to believe. What can we do but watch as our anti-savior does exactly what is intended: save the people by destroying the shackles it has thrived to strangle others with. It seems his momentum is slowing down, but to those just as unreasonable who lack the entertainment factor. In a simple sentence, I hope he hangs around. Because as his presence lingers so does the hysteria of the absurd. Detachment is our political mantra because the details of reality that describe our current state of Washington seem unreal.
